Okay, so it's important to mention here that I'm writing this post in early 2025. This trip, however, took place in the summer of 2013. A lot changed in those 12 years, especially as it relates to the Harry Potter franchise and it's creator.
I'm no longer consuming Harry Potter media or merchandise. I also don't care if you are, because I'm not your parent and because I know everyone's lives are complex and difficult to assess from the outside. You do you.
I took a lot of photos that day. Too many, as one does. I'm sure I posted all of them to social media, and had silly captions for each one, but rather than recreate each of those posts, I'll share my favorite photo.
The trip to and from Harry Potter land (or whatever the real title is) was a pretty fun journey on a series of buses, trains, and subways. If you do plan on going, just know that it isn't in London, but getting to it isn't hard.
We had a chance to soak up a few more sights near the train station, though.
